===Au Paon d'or, Une histoire de famille


===A wooden hut is born from the rubble of a devastated city at the end of the Great War 14-18, it is the Golden Hen. At the initiative of this Lille bistro, located on Place de Béthune, the Géllez family. The success was immediate, unfortunately the 2 brothers quarreled. The youngest, created then the Paon d'Or in front of the establishment of his brother to compete with him.


=== Nowadays the Poule d'Or does not exist any more and the Paon forged its notoriety thanks to emblematic owners, such as Francois leproux or Mr Brion. It is in March 2000 that our family took over the torch, and tries to perpetuate the history of this place which saw passing so many inhabitants of Lille.
