This traditional rotisserie, born here on the Place de la Visitation (train station). The shop is still worthy of a Rabelais novel, where farm chickens or Label Rouge chickens sit alongside guinea fowl, roast pork, knuckle of pork or ribs, all browning together. In casseroles, potatoes in various preparations, country or Landaise, simmer alongside mushrooms. The Toulouse, Montbéliard or Morteau sausages await their turn in the company of andouillettes.
All this pleasantly teases the nostrils and blossoms good France The varied home-made sauces wonderfully raise all these meats cooked as we like them.
At lunchtime we enjoy big sandwiches prepared to order, no ham and butter here but for example with vegetable sausage, chive cream and mushrooms (humm!).
