Once upon a time, a little Surinamese globe-trotter fell in love and settled in Burgundy.





Suriname is a former Dutch colony that became an independent country in the 1970s.



Nested in the hollow of the plateau of the 3 Guianas in South America (English-Dutch-French Guiana), it is a country sheltering several ethnic groups and cultures, which live in perfect harmony.one speaks there: Dutch, English, Chinese, Javanese, an Indian dialect and of course the local gue: the sranang tongo or taki taki.



This multiculturality has resulted in dishes that have become atypical due to the adaptation to local spices...
