In our restaurant, we offer South American cuisine made with fresh and seasonal products to allow our customers to have a real taste experience that will ensure a trip to South America.


This restaurant was born from the inspiration gathered during several trips to South America. The first trip was to Peru and resulted in the opening of a Franco-Peruvian fusion restaurant in Puno, a small town on the shores of Lake Titicaca. It was then several trips to Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Brazil and Colombia that gave the two childhood friends, Marco and Hugo, the desire to create L'Empanaderia.


Our empanadas are hand-folded according to the traditional Argentinean method.


Our empanadas are filled with fresh and quality ingredients. The recipes of our empanadas change regularly.


The fish used to make our ceviches is extremely fresh, it is recovered every morning at an independent fishmonger in the 6th district of Lyon.


We use notably rainbow trout from Isère from the source of the oron, located 30min from Lyon, there is no fresher and closer for rainbow trout.


The menu changes according to the seasons and the inspiration of the chef who creates a menu with recipes from Peru, Argentina, Brazil or Colombia.


All served in an athypical place in which the menu, the atmosphere, the music and the decoration will ensure a trip to South America...
